Katie Simmons has joined The National Conference Center in Lansdowne as catering sales manager.  She will be responsible for weddings, corporate events, holiday parties and other private functions.

Simmons was previously catering manager of Heritage Shores Club and director of sales at Heritage Hunt Golf & Country Club. She has experience in working with a variety of banquets and events and has handled all aspects of planning and sales.

“Katie is going to be a great asset to our catering and sales department,” said Kurt Krause, general manager. “She has the perfect blend of enthusiasm and knowledge to fully complement our sales team.”

Simmons is a graduate of George Mason University where she earned a bachelor of arts degree.  She resides in Gainesville.
