Loudoun County business news and announcements

The Ladies Board of Inova Loudoun Hospital is pleased to announce that this spring it has awarded 64 nursing scholarships for a total of $102,300.  Awards range from $700 to $2200.  The quality of applications this year was exceptional, and the diversity of the students is evident.  Recipients are enrolled in LPN, RN, BSN, and MSN programs in 19 different schools.

The Ladies Board Nursing Scholarship Program was established in 1959 to award supplemental funds to worthy nursing students.  In the past 15 years The Ladies Board has offered 630 scholarships with a total value of over $850,000.
Funds for this important project are raised by The Gift Shop at Inova Loudoun Hospital, Twice Is Nice Thrift Shop in Leesburg, the Lights of Love remembrance program and the Annual Ladies Board Rummage Sale.
