Lansdowne Resort , located in DC’s wine country, LoudounCounty, kicks off summer with its free annual summer concert series. The Sounds of Summer concert series — sponsored by BMW of Sterling/MINI of Sterling, in conjunction with our charity, USO Metro — offers a variety of music genres including 80s and 90s dance bands, along with jazz, Beatles, and new this year, a Dave Mathews cover band. The Sounds of Summer free outdoor concert series takes place every Friday beginning Friday, June 17 and runs through September 2, the Friday night of Labor Day weekend. The performances will be held on the Lansdowne Resort terraces, from 7:30 – 10:30 p.m. each Friday night. Executive Chef Wes Rosati and the Resort’s culinary team will be offering a variety of local, fresh grilled menu options for outdoor dining on the Resort Terraces!
