Over 100 women and a few men showed up for the June Sterling Women's Luncheon hosted by Kristina Bouweiri, Owner Reston Limousine. The featured speaker was Caren Merrick, Owner WebMethods, Inc. She is running for public office of Virginia Senate in the 31st district which now includes part of Loudoun County. Caren spoke on the balance of Women in the Workforce and Homelife. She explained that women make up a big part of the Small Business Work Force. She has been named to Washington's 2011 Tech Titans, !00 of the leaders of Washington's Tech World. There was plenty of networking and shopping as the ladies were getting ready for the lunch and speaker. Every month The National Conference Center in Lansdowne, Virginia is the host venue for the Sterling Women's Luncheon.
