The National Conference Center (NCC), is pleased to announce
that Sarah Vining, who has been serving as marketing assistant, has now been
promoted to marketing manager.
Sarah began working at NCC last August after graduating from the College of
Charleston in Charleston, S.C. where she earned a bachelor of arts degree in
corporate and organizational communications.
"Sarah has effectively, and successfully, launched our entire social media
program," stated Kurt Krause, general manager at NCC. "Her regular blog has
developed a large following and is very unique within the conference center
industry. She has single-handedly established an online following that we
had never dreamed possible."
Vining developed her social media and online expertise first as a marketing
intern with 3D Travel, Inc. in Honolulu where she managed more than 5,000
locations for 3D Hawaii, the world's first virtual travel planning Web
site. At NCC, she was able to further explore and hone her skills.
"Sarah is a huge asset to our marketing team," Krause added. "Her hard work
has greatly enhanced our market presence for training, meeting and banquet
business in Northern Virginia."
Vining currently resides in Bethesda, Md. She is the recipient of
the "Distinguished Service" award from the College of Charleston Department
of Communications and was selected as a "Featured Student" by the College of
Charleston. She is also a Certified Tourism Ambassador.
