The National Budget, and the possible Government shutdown, was the topic at the monthly Men's Syndicate networking event April 8. Congressman Frank Wolf was slated to attend and speak, but was unable to attend due to budget talks on Capitol Hill. Wolf's chief of staff, Dan Scandling, came out to speak to more than 70 men and women that came out to the networking lunch. Scandling spoke about the current budget negotiations and stalmate that was happening on Capitol Hill. He also spoke on the current trend happening in regards to the toll hikes.
