Supervisor Andrea McGimsey (D-Potomac) headlined the Sterling Women luncheon March 11 at the National Conference Center. McGimsey gave insight into how her career began and encouraged attendees to vote, be more active in the community and be more Earth-friendly. A couple of ways she said to achieve these goals were to write letters to the editor, talk to the media, start up a blog, speak to the Board of Supervisors or join a local political party.
