LTM travels to Haiti
Dr. George Bazaco, owner of Doukenie Winery, traveled to Haiti with the Medical Missionaries for a week to help Cholera victims in Thomassique. “The time I spend in Haiti helping those in need is most rewarding, especially when I know I can bring some relief to the children. There has now been a recent Cholera outbreak in Thomassique, along the Haiti-Dominican Republic border where the Medical Missionaries have built and support a clinic and hospital, the first medical facility in this region of more than 125,000 people. It is urgent that we support the victims of this recent outbreak in any way we can,” Bazaco said. Doukenie Winery donated its tasting fees and $1 for every bottle sold to the Medical Missionaries hospital in Haiti.
