Loudoun SBDC carries on through the Storm!
Thursday's Storm and tornado watch did not put a damper on the Loudoun SBDC's "Making Connections!" event. They held their 4th annual Celebration of Loudoun Entrepreneurial Spirit seminars and networking event at The George Washington University Virginia Science & Technology Campus on Thursday April 28, 2011. More than 300 participants were on hand to listen to seminars put on by some of the leading experts in their respective fields. John May, Managing Partner New Vantage Group, Bob Steere, Founder Steere Consulting Partners, LLC, Shaun Kelly, Senior Vice President PNC Bank, N.A., Jim Chung Director Office of Entrepreneurship The George Washington University, Cheryl Beebe, Senior Vice President & Loudoun County Market Executive Cardinal Bank, and Scott M. Hamberger, Co-President, CEO Fortessa are just a few of the Speakers and Panalist on hand. Some of the topics covered were Start-up Financing, Small Business Lending Programs, Venture Capital Funding, Government Contracts, Best Blogging Practices, to name a few. Everyone is looking forward to next year already!
