Leesburg salutes former Mayor

The Leesburg Economic Development Commission honored the winners of the ninth annual 2010 Business Appreciation Awards May 18 at the Thomas Birkby House.
The nominations committee reviewed 120 nominees and 75 businesses. The winners were: The George C. Marshall Award: Robert Sevila; New Business Award: Talk Loudoun; Heritage Award: Tuscarora Mill Restaurant; Ambassador Award: Mom’s Apple Pie; Innovations Award: REHAU; Environmental Award: Doner Bistro; Home-Based Business Award: Milt Herd, Herd Planning & Design; Public Art Award: ArtSquare and Community Steward Award: Johnson Promotions & Events.
