Kim Holcomb, chief financial officer of Sterling-based Curry's Auto Service, was named the CFO of the Year in the Business Services category by the Washington Business Journal on December 6. Holcomb joined Curry's Auto Service in 2008 as Chief Financial Officer. With a staff of three in the financial department, Holcomb oversees the budget for a $13 million company. Curry's Auto Service was named to the Inc. 5000 list of fastest growing private companies in the U.S for 2010. Curry's ranked number 3972 with a 33% increase in revenues between 2006 and 2009.
