Bidding Bennett farewell
More than 350 friends wished James E. Bennett, President & CEO of the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority, a fond farewell May 7. Bennett made many passenger service quality improvements at Washington Dulles International Airport and Reagan National Airport, including the Dulles AeroTrain that debuted in early 2010. The party, at the Fairview Park Marriott in Falls Church, was co-hosted by the Committee for Dulles, the Dulles Airport Airline Management Council, the Dulles Airport Airline Management Council, the Dulles Area Transportation Association, the Dulles Corridor Rail Association, the Dulles Regional Chamber of Commerce, the Loudoun County Chamber of Commerce and Visit Loudoun, among others.
