Lovettsville Montessori School, a planned preschool for children aged 3-6, and Oasis Healthware, a Dulles-based software company that electronically categorizes medical records, took the top awards at the Loudoun Small Business Development Center’s second annual Business Plan Competition awards Nov. 16. Finalists in the non-scalable category included second runner-up, Wine N’ Out, a wine bar to be located in Leesburg; and first runner-up, Market Alignment, a marketing company. Catoctin Creek Distilling Company in Purcellville came in second place in the scalable business model category.
Lovettsville Montessori School’s Allison Frederick Harteis took home the top prize in the non-scalable model category.
